The year was 1975, when Recorders and Medicare Systems came into being with its small but dedicated team of eight. United under the motto, “Leading Through Innovation,” this small group was responsible for the first product, a polygraph, that rolled out of the assembly unit in less than a year.
Recognition as an R&D unit by the Government of India came in 1978.The turn of the century saw the ISO Certification coming our way, and after that there was no looking back. Today RMS, as the company is popularly known, is some 450+ strong, and has an awesome 70+ products in its production range.
The biggest strength of RMS lies in its people, the sweat and blood component that goes into each piece of equipment produced. Their depth of experience, domain knowledge, dedication and integrity has immensely contributed to build the company from the ground up - adopting and keeping abreast of the latest technology and industry practices while meeting the most stringent specifications as per international standards.
RMS strives to benefit the healthcare delivery infrastructure in India and developing countries worldwide by bringing to market high quality, yet affordable diagnostic equipment. The company's philosophy has always been to give its customers the best possible quality at the lowest possible prices. While this may not be conducive to a fast financial growth, we have made huge profits by way of customer satisfaction and good will – profits that may not show up in our account books, but those that will hold us in good stead over the years to come.
We are today making inroads into world markets. Our products are already being exported to countries like Bangladesh , Nepal , Sri Lanka , Philippines , Indonesia , Malaysia , South Africa , Nigeria , Yemen and Tanzania . Orders from Thailand , Turkey and Egypt are in the pipeline.
RMS is, and has always been open to new areas of diversification. I am personally open to all new ideas and suggestions. My doors are always open to anyone who cares to walk in to discuss ways and means of innovation and improvement. We have recently launched a Security Division. A Training Wing is also on the anvil. I have full confidence in my people and my principles, and together, we will make it happen!
